What is a Bike Centaur? Probably a metaphor for something. A surreal way to describe someone weird. The sort of person who’s watched too much Bollywood and can’t get over the 1997 - 2001 Blair Government.

BUT there’s a parallel universe where the big bang brought together a different combination of atoms - covering the earth in naturally occurring bike lanes. This small environmental change meant different genes were chosen and different creatures triumphed under natural selection. In this universe the Bike Centaur is not a metaphor. They’re dating our daughters, they’re working at KPMG*, they’re in our velodromes. In this universe they’re real.

But this is a show about the first thing - the metaphor. Or is it? Watch to find out.
